Users experiencing this issue should update to Version 21.3.45 or 21.4.21 or greater. Prescriptions are still writing out normally. We have received reports that Legacy eRx is not synchronizing prescriptions back to Open Dental.

Our team is working to re-send emails or handle any resulting issues. Due to the switch, some emails that we intended to send between January 18th and February 1st, 2022 silently failed. Open Dental HQ recently switched email systems. We are currently looking into this issue and will update this announcement as more information is available. As of 7:30 AM PT Some customers using integrated texting may see some messages being marked as failed. Offices can now make changes to their Favorites Lists again.

Customers who know a specific date when their favorites list was correct can contact Open Dental support to have their Favorite List restored as of the specified date. A default favorites list was pushed out to all offices. 12:00 PM PT DoseSpot has resolved issues with Clinic Favorites Lists. We are aware of the issue and are working to resolve the problem as soon as possible. 7:30 AM PT, Open Dental Cloud users may receive an error preventing them from connecting.
